Braided Rag Handles
Shaker tape is cut and sewn so that it can be inserted into the basket by running a weaver through one of the pre-sewn loops. Strips of material are braided and connected to the two loops to provide a strong and colorful handle. A button is sewn to the outside of the handle both for decorative purposes and to help insure handle is placed correctly.

Braided rim filler:
Used as an alternative to sea grass or round reed for filling up the space between the rim pieces on the top of the basket. Braids are made of three strips of material and braided. Assortment of colors available.
